Setting a locator up is not hard, but it does mean a theme editor, a map style, and getting your locations into the right shape. If you would rather hand that over, we will do it. It costs nothing.
How to ask
Open the chat in the bottom right corner of the app and ask us to set it up.
What we ask you for
Your email: the only thing that is required. We write to you at every step.
Where the map should go: a page, a section of a page you already have, or the floating button. Not sure? Leave it and we will suggest something.
A link to your locations: a Google Sheet, an Airtable, any link we can open, or a file. Make sure anyone with the link can view it. If your locations are already in the app, skip it.
A collaborator request code: only if your store asks for one, under Settings then Users. Our app is already installed, so we can usually request access without it.
What happens next
- You approve a collaborator request from Progus in your Shopify admin. Nothing can start before that click.
- We load your locations, from your link or file, or from what is already in the app.
- We put the map where you asked for it, and match the markers and the results list to your theme.
- You look it over and switch it on. Nothing is published to your storefront until you do.
It usually takes a couple of hours inside our working day. The app shows you where the request has got to, and whether it is waiting on us or on you.
What to do next
Changed your mind and want to do it yourself? Cancel the request in the app and carry on with the wizard.
