Modifying the "Store Locator" Page Title in Shopify

Rename the page the app created, so the heading your shoppers read matches your own wording rather than ours.

When you install the app it creates a page on your shop and drops the map onto it. The title it picks is a sensible default in your store language, not a decision about your branding, so rename it to whatever your shoppers would look for: Stockists, Find a dealer, Where to buy.

Rename it

  1. In your app, open the Dashboard.
  2. On the Your store locator page card, click Edit page title.
  3. Enter the new title and click Update page title.

It can take a moment to show on your live store. The map itself is unaffected: it lives in the page content, not in the title.

One thing to watch

Changing the title can change the page handle, which is part of its address. If you already linked the page from a menu, a banner or an external site, check those links still work afterwards. The app lets you edit the handle separately, with the Edit url button on the same Your store locator page card.

What to do next

  • The menu label is separate from the page title. "Adding a store locator page to your shopify menu" is where you set that.

  • Renaming what shoppers read inside the map, the search bar and the buttons, is done in Settings, then Translations.

Stuck on any of this? Open the chat in the bottom right corner of the app and we will help you set it up.
