Managing dealer form notifications

Get an email whenever a dealer submits the form, so requests do not sit unread. How to switch it on, and where to point it.

Submissions wait on the Submissions page until someone looks at them. If nobody checks that page, a dealer who filled in your form hears nothing for weeks. The notification email is what stops that.

Switch it on

  1. Go to Settings → Dealer form and find the Notifications card.
  2. Choose Enable. An email field appears.
  3. Enter the address that should receive them, and save.

Choosing Disable switches the emails off again. Submissions still arrive either way: you are only deciding whether anyone is told.

Choosing the address

  • A shared inbox beats a personal one. A dealer request that lands in the holiday inbox of one person is a request nobody answers.

  • It does not have to be your Shopify store email. Point it at whoever actually approves dealers.

  • Check the spam folder after the first one arrives, and mark it as safe if it landed there.

What to do next

  • "Handling new dealer submissions" is what to do once the email arrives.

  • Tired of approving every small change? Auto-accept, on the same settings page, lets dealer edits through without review.

Stuck on any of this? Open the chat in the bottom right corner of the app and we will help you set it up.
