This is the manual route, and it is the right one for a handful of stores. If you are adding dozens or hundreds, use the bulk importer or connect a data source instead, both of which sit on the same page.
Step 1: Open the form
Go to Locations and click Add location. The only field you must fill in is Name. Everything else, address, contact details, opening hours, is optional and can be added later.
Step 2: Place the pin
A location without coordinates cannot appear on the map. There are three ways to give it some:
Find address on the map: fill in the address fields, then click the button below the map. We look the address up and drop the pin on it. This is the usual route.
Set coordinates: type the latitude and longitude yourself, in the format "latitude, longitude". Useful when the address is vague or the pin lands in the wrong place.
Drag the pin on the map to where it should be, then save.
To get coordinates from Google Maps, right-click the spot and click the numbers at the top of the popup: that copies them in exactly the format the field wants.
Step 3: Add the optional extras
A marker style, so this location stands out from the rest, or a new one created on the spot
Tags, which become the filters your shoppers use on the storefront
Groups, which let you show a separate map per group
An image, either uploaded or as an external URL
Opening hours, either as free text or per day with a timezone
Step 4: Save
Use the Save button at the top of the screen. The new location appears on your storefront a few seconds later, once the map cache catches up.
